New Covenant International University and Seminary is accredited by Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC). ASIC accreditation helps students and parents make a more informed choice and will also help a school, college, university, training provider or distance education provider, demonstrate to the international student body that they are a high-quality institution. ASIC is recognized by UKVI in UK, is a member of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) in the USA and is listed in their International Directory, is a member of the BQF (British Quality Foundation) and are institutional members of EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network).
In addition, NCIU is certified by the Council of Private Colleges of America (CPCA), which was set up for religious institutions in America and features a validation process that mirrors the requirements of US state accreditation. The word “certification” is used to ensure that there is no wrong impression given to US students, who associate “accreditation” with state funding. Furthermore, CPCA certification is the Christian, Bible-based response to the high costs of US education and government intrusions into accredited theological programs, while maintaining the highest academic standards. NCIU is also a member of the Florida Council of Private Colleges.
In the past, NCIU graduates have been admitted to Master and Doctoral studies at several internationally recognized Universities and Theological Seminaries, such as Oxford University, Fuller Theological Seminary, Oral Roberts University, Regent University, Azusa Pacific University, University of Wales, and FU Berlin.
NCIU operates under the following Florida legislative provisions to provide religious degrees and awards for religious vocations: New Covenant International, Inc., is a Florida incorporated non-profit educational organization, that has established a private non-public post-secondary institution for the purpose of providing academic degree programs and other educational programs that prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of Bible and Theology, Christian Ministry, Christian Mission, and Intercultural Studies, Christian Pastoral Counseling, and Religious Education. NCIU is fully compliant in all statutory requirements qualifying post-secondary degree-granting institutions: Florida Statute 2009 Title XLVIII Chapter 1005.06.(1) (f)[F.S.].
